Our clinics

AUT Millennium is home to three world-class clinics that offer a range of services to athletes and the community, whether you're a professional athlete, a fitness enthusiast or someone looking to improve your health.

The services offered at the clinics are grounded in research, and guided by the principles of SPRINZ and the Human Potential Centre. Athletes and clients seen at the clinics could also be asked to become research subjects for various research projects on sport and exercise, helping us improve the services through our research.

Human Potential Clinic

The Human Potential Clinic bridges the gap between the medical community and fitness industry. This unique clinic offers advanced exercise assessment and prescription for people living with a wide range of risk factors and medical conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer.

The services are grounded in research, and underpinned by the principles of SPRINZ. Our research is facilitated through the services we provide and the services are in turn enhanced through research.

J.E. Lindsay Carter Kinanthropometry Clinic

Kinanthropometry is used for the assessment of sport, health and physical fitness interventions, as well as the study of body shape for performance advantage and injury prevention.

The kinanthropometry clinic was created to raise awareness of the application of kinanthropometry and to further its growth in New Zealand and worldwide. The clinic was formally opened by Professor J.E. Lindsay Carter from San Diego State University, a world leader in the field of anthropometry, in 2003.
